Something I just started working on... DEF not finished

The feeling of loneliness is a hard one to swallow...

Give everything,
fall short,
Broken heart overwhelms physically,
chest heavy, breathes strenuous,
soul numb, repeated thoughts
thoughts of resentment,
hatred, failure,
Loneliness
The avoidance of sleep,
only to stop mind games,
curling up to sleep alone
once again
gripping a pillow close
to somehow trick the sleeping mind
from dreams
dreams only turning into terrors
awoken by screams
drenched pillow of sorrow,
stained from mascara
returned to
loneliness,
once again
A want so paralizing
that burns the flesh,
in need of clarity
cringing in pain from
uncertainity,
confusion,
a soul mislaid
loneliness
